.::It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches
you. We're always behind this metal and glass. We miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something::.

It's shocking how time flies. I've been busy trying to figure out my life and with a blink of an eye, I come back to visit my xanga page and it has been almost half a year since I wrote an entry. Hope everyone is well with their lives. As for me, I need to figure out what career path I want to pursue...it is not an understatement when I say this, "I am the most indecisive person that you can possibly find in the world."...or maybe I'm just not easy satisfied. *Sigh* Either way, I need to make up my mind quick!

Other than that, all is peachy. Just got back from Rosarito, as did many of you that are reading this blog. = ) I'm sorry I didn't think ahead about the lack of reception in Mexico. But I hope you all had a blast. Me and Jenny's motel room were three rooms from each other yet, we did not bump heads...such a shame.

I have one more trip to look forward and after that, I really need to be more serious about life! Ann...are you ready for the BAHAMAS?!?!?!! I am sooo ready, my mesh cover-up from Victoria Secret arrived today. It is amazingly cute and sexy. We're gonna party it up like it's 1999. Our package deal still has one more space if anyone is interested.

I have one more month to learn to swim, I almost drowned in Rosarito. Emy, two locals and a life guard had to come to my rescue. I was diving sideway and the current washed me out and before I know it, I couldn't feel the sea bottom anymore, that was quite a scare. It doesn't help either that I was kinda under the influence. Ann, tell Noel to keep an eye on me in the Bahamas. There will be plenty of all you can drink alcohol there haha.

We're all grown ups now. Soon we'll all have careers and families. So enjoy your carefree youth as much as you can while you still have it. Good luck everyone with everything that you're doing.

Happy Summer!

I just thought of a new goal for myself: Gain some weight, start working out and be more tone.

Hmm maybe going to bed earlier would be a start to me gaining some weight! Waahhh. I feel so scrawny. I want to gain 5 more pounds! I can do it!

Nickelback - Someday

I gotta admit, that's a pretty crazy music video. I was a little confused at first about what's going on in the video. This video makes me think of a similar, true tragic story. A husband died leaving his wife and three children. Of course, everyone is mourning his death at such a young age; his wife on the other hand, was in complete distress by the death of the love of her life. For days, she cried non stop and calling out to his spirit asking him to take her with him on his journey. Exactly three days after his death, she got into a car accident and passed away and left behind three children that aren't exactly old enough to take care of one another.

Before her death, she said that she saw his spirit and claimed that his spirit is present with her at all time. Until this day, I still belive that its her husband's spirit taking granting his love's wish to join him in his new journey.

...can't live without each other love

                                                      ...love in its truest form.

                              ============================================

Not to be pessimistic, but life is full of disappointments. There is always an ending to every party. People either separate due to irreconcilable differences or separation when one passes away...more the reasons to cherish everything and everyone in our lives.

Some pictures for your viewing pleasure. This year I took very little since this is my first year without the girls by my side to be camera whores with me. = (

1
Hero, a friend that I just made at the party haha and my awesome friend Brendan who was sweet enough to leave the girl he was talking to and take care of me. He had fun though = ) Brendan, the only Asian guy I know that possesses a fro (well, half Asian). Brendan: "I don't know if you're more entertaining sober or drunk."

2
Jenny, the other friend that I made at the party. She's White, but she can hella dance. At the end of the party, she fell and hit her head on the corner of a table so hard that I thought she could have died. Jenny: "Oh my god, am I bleeding?" Quyen: "No." Jenny: "Oh, well then let's go dance then." Haha I guess when you're drunk, you have higher pain threshold.

Notice how I have my sweater on the whole night. Brendan didn't tell me it was an evening wear dress code. My dress was too clubbish for this event. = (

Tis start another year. I think that I've drank enough last night for the whole year of 2007. The party was put together by the drift crew. They are all so chill and they all seem to have a good bond between them. We arrived at the party around 9:30 PM. Everyone was so dressed up in tux and dresses. I felt a little under-dressed for the very first time. Right when we entered the party, me, Brendan and his friend splitted up and mingled. I quickly made friends with some of the drifters' girlfriends and the drunkenness began. At one point I was drinking champagne straight out of the bottle, at any point that you drink out of the bottle, you know that you are drunk. One guy jumped into the pool in the freezing weather of last night, it was especially cold up in the hills.  I smoked a cigar for the very first time in my life...more like 3 puffs out of the cigar before I threw it away. I reunited with Brendan the second half of the party because the alcohol was getting the best of me. Brendan was so sweet to have taken care of me most of the night. Poor guy had to carry me down the steep driveway of house. He thought it was dangerous for a drunken girl to walk down that steep hill. Even sober, I found myself out of breath by the time I made it up to the top of that 500 feet drive way, it goes up so high that from the house that you can oversee the city of Beverly Hills.

One of the many stories from last night was when a drunken guy came up to Brendan and said, "Dude, can you delete that picture of me banging that girl in the bathroom? Me and my girlfriend are already having enough problems. I don't want her to see that picture." Brendan said that he didn't take any such pictures, and the guy wasn't convinced, "No, I remember your face." Brendan spent like half an hour trying to explain to that guy that he didn't take any picture of his scandal. He had to show that guy my camera to prove that there is no such picture.

The house has so many guestrooms; each is almost as big as a small house and countless bathrooms. The owner of the house's dad is the President of the Plastic Surgeon Board of California. Just when I thought White people couldn't get any richer, they do. Although the house could have been better kept on the outside.

Last night confirmed my beliefs that White people can't dance. I couldn't hold back from laughter when I saw Brendan's friend dancing with all that he's got. It was a hilarious sight. The guy had on pink pants and a pink shirt. He looks like a cotton candy...haha cute.

We left the house at 8 PM, traffic was horrible, at one point, we were moving at less than 5 mph. There was an accident at Rosecran exit on the 405 N. The car was flipped and laying on its side. The other car looked pretty destroyed also. I hope no one is too badly hurt, such a awful way to start the new year.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year's Eve. = )
